Upcoming Graduation Deadlines
Fri, May 15
Final Spring 2026 Graduation Deadline. You must submit all requirements for graduation by this date to qualify for a SP26 degree.
Mon, Jun 8
Early Summer 2026 Graduation Deadline. Students who were enrolled in SP26 and submit all graduation requirements by the early deadline will be awarded a SUM 26 degree but are not required to enroll for the SUM 26 term.
Fri, Jul 24
Final Summer 2026 Graduation Deadline. You must submit all requirements for graduation by this date to qualify for a SUM26 degree.
Tues, Sept 8
Early Fall 2026 Graduation Deadline. Students who were enrolled in Spring OR Summer 26 and submit all graduation requirements by the early deadline will be awarded a FA 26 degree but are not required to enroll for the FA 26 term.
The deadlines in these calendars indicate when:
- Doctoral students must file paperwork with their school office (acceptance page, thesis & dissertation release/embargo form, and doctoral completion survey certificate), apply for graduation in Enroll & Pay, and submit the dissertation electronically. Graduates may also participate in the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony.
- Master's students must file paperwork with their school office (acceptance page and thesis & dissertation release/embargo form), apply for graduation in Enroll & Pay, and submit the thesis electronically.
*These deadlines apply to graduate students on the Lawrence and Edwards Campuses. Students who intend to graduate must check with their schools for additional deadlines and requirements.
